Debi has recently adopted a Jack Russell and thinks he too dreams of dragons.
He often stares at the dragon statues in Debi's garden as if he has some kind of sixth sense. We wonder what he's thinking....?

Hi My son's school was recently visited by Debi Evans. His name is Tiano. He is only 6 but was fortunate enough to be included in the visit as he is a gifted reader. He is usually a very self conscious shy child but whatever Debi did seems to have inspired him as he is completely captivated and has spoken of nothing since. He has always been a great story teller and we have spent many a morning listening to his fantasies but Ive never been able to persuade him to write them down - until now! He was clearly inspired and its so lovely to see him relish his gift with such enthusiasm. I really wanted to thank her for that. I am in process of sourcing all the books for him but he is also talking about 'dragonoar'??? I feel I should be more informed and I apologise for this ignirance but - what/where/how does he get his?? Please advise so I can help him get his wish!! With sincerest thanks in anticipation of your response Gio the very proud mum of Tiano & Santino, not yet reading at this level but a future fan Im sure!!

I am Luke & Becky Gillroy's Grandmother, who lives in Australia, and I love to visit my Grandchildren, Luke & Becky Gillroy, at their school, Al Yasmina in Abu Dhabi. My daughter, Danielle Gillroy, is a teacher in year 4 at the same school where you visited yesterday. We all believe in Dragons and I am planning a special place at the bottom of my garden for my Dragon. He will live in the 'Jasmine House' that is covered in sweet smelling white and cream Jasmine flowers in Spring. Do Dragons also like good fairies? I do and hope that my Dragon will protect them as I will protect him. I will love reading the Dragon Story books to my Grandchildren when I come to Abu Dhabi to visit.
My name is Nanna Ros Munro from Queensland in Australia and I am 70 years old. My Grandchildren are really excited as they are looking forward to seeing me on the map in Australia as a Dragon Protector. Just as my name sake, the little 11 year old boy Angus Munro, I too have a passion for Dragons.
Thank you for the opportunity you have given me to help protect Dragons.

Hey!
I just finish reading your 5th book and it is awesome! I felt so sorry for Georgina but it made me want to read more! I think Angus and Pyrra are a good team and that Angus and Georgina are perfect for each other ! I even came up with my own dragon. Her name is Snowflake, she is light blue and an Ice dragon. She can breath Ice(Instead of fire) and get glimpses of what is happening to someone that is important at the moment! Her soul goes to the area but her body is left behind and when she does she curls up in a ball and her wings wrap around her for more protection. But the best part of her is that she is Loving, caring and cheerful!
Love all your books
From Jessica!

Hi, I love your books!! I even came up with my own dragon, try to picture her in your head, Her name is Juliet, She is red, and her wings are a shade of red and yellow, she has to horns on her head with her ears just behind it, She also has blue eyes and can breath fire and ice!
Every day I think she’s right beside me (even when I sleep)
When I get board, I talk to Juliet.
Oh yeah, before I forget you visited my school, Wellington international school in Dubai. Do you remember? When I read your books, I felt so alive, my eyes were glued to the pages, the books are exciting and full of adventure!
So when is your next book coming out??
I hope it’s soon, I can’t wait!! JJJJJ
From your biggest fan, Jessica J

The children had a fabulous time! They were still talking about your visit all day Thursday and were so proud to show off their dragon ore!
We are going to be doing some creative writing this week about dragons and I am sure that your visit will have planted a few seeds for developing their stories!
Look forward to the new book coming out! The kids are begging me to read the first one with them and I have promised we will as soon as we finish the book we are half way through. They looked at me in disgust and wanted me to abandon Mr Gum completely!
Thanks again for visiting.
Regards

hi! I have just finished reading "the city guardians" it was really good, funny, exciting and entertaining! Thank you by the way for giving me a signed copy. I realized every one of your books that I have (which is all except the first) have your signatures in the front cover! I was reading the last few pages and I realized you used the name I suggested for Rhys's baby! I was wondering are they boys or girls? The ending was very mysterious so i will be waiting for the next one!

Hello,my name is Dalia and i think that Debi Evans knows Mahra from Emirates International School who is my little sister and she lent me book one. I am very interested in books about dragons, I have read Christopher Paolini's books which were amazing and plenty other such books. Born in England I just have to take a short trip to Waterstones to get them.
To tell the truth, I just couldn't let go of the book one of the secret society of dragon protectors which I finished in a matter of hours because it was just splendid and thoroughly funny, very well described and very interesting to read (I'm on my way Magrudy's to get the others!) and you're a great book mastermind!
Sorry but I wanted to join and get a certificate but I just couldn't find the link.
Best regards,
Dalia

Dear SSDP,
I’m sorry for the daily letters but I couldn’t wait…Thank you so much for entering me into Anguses world and yes of course I would adore to become a member. I’ve just thought that you could actually write Dragonalia filling in every loose gap that you have left unsewn about dragons. Mummy Daddy and I all think that you are much better at writing and drawing (trust us were experts) than J.K Rowling and eagerly await the arrival Christmas so we can ask for the second and third book. ‘This is the best series of books we’ve ever read!’ The Dubai children Independent.
From an SSDP member called Martha.

Dear SSDP,
Corky[nickname, my real name is cormac] here! To start off I want to say that I am a firm believer in dragons. Before I got tour book from Wellington International School I was doing the best I could to collect the Dragonology series. But I haven't been getting much luck. Only Dragonology itself and Bringing up baby dragons. Both of these books I fully trust but your book simply tips both of them! Oh and John, GREAT PICS! Debi, I ain't leaving you out, you gave a speech at my school, EXCELLENT! I also love how you two work together both writing one book, I've never heard of it! Oh and I have some Ideas too. Maybe you could have like a short epilogue book, say, it could include Pic's of all of the dragons in book one or somethin'. You could also have somthin' in the 3rd book[yes I know your writing it.] like the story Dragon Rider well not exact, say... you could have an evil knight obsessed with wiping all dragons off the face of the Earth but he didn't succeed then say, some weird event sends him to our time and he continues his obsession in our time.

I just wanted to say thank you as well for what your books have done for my son. You came to his school last week, st nicolas, he is 9 an has asperges. He is a very good reader but loses interrested very easily. Not your books though, he is now at book number three and almost finished, it also seems to have made him want to write stories of his own. Which is great. He came to watch you in the big hall at school which he hardly ever goes in with all the other children, for someone wo doesn't do noise and crowds this a great. Any way thanks we are really gratefull.
Adinda
